Answer: A Digital Subscriber Line router is a device used which is basically used to connect a computer with the internet using a phone line which provides DSL services.

Question: Can the optical fiber be used for DSL routers instead of telephone line?
Answer: Not at all. As phone line is necessary for DSL Connectivity as DSL routers need a line, optical fiber can’t produce DSL ability.
Question: Why my telephone line is unstable after installing DSL router?
Answer: That is a problem originating from telephone exchange so contact them. As there’s no impact on phone line service if you use DSL on it.
Question: How to set up your DSL router?
Answer: Please follow the following steps to connect to the internet through DSL router:
- Switch DSL router On.
- Locate WAN Port on the back of DSL Router and plug Phone Line into it.
- In Ethernet port of router, plug one end of LAN Cable
- In Ethernet port of your Computer, plug other end of LAN Cable
- Restart the computer
- Connect to the internet by click on Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, clicking Set up a connection or network, and then clicking Connect to the Internet
